Music Videos. What a concept. Too bad popular music has manage to spoil the concept all together. I’m yet to see a music video that’s worthy of heavy rotation on MTV (for the whole 30 minutes of programming they allocate to music videos) that’s even remotely artistically inspired. Music is such a powerful tool. I’m a firm believer in the fact that good music should transport you to a different world, one where you have no knowledge of all of the day-to-day b.s. that manages to rule our everyday lives.

Thank god for indie bands. Not only do they make music that is still heart-dropping and inspirational, but the music videos that are made to accompany these songs only enhance the effect.

‘Land of Talk’ have managed to put out one of the most visually and mentally stimulating music videos I’ve seen in awhile, and the song that accompanies it, is nothing short of emotionally perfect. If you do anything this week, make sure you give up the five minutes required to watch this video. I promise it won’t be time wasted.
