(I have no idea what the hell is going on in this picture)

Now I’m not going to lie, usually this kind of music isn’t my thing. Pop music is usually tasteless, generic, and overall bland. Shakira however is really shaking things up!!(That was suppose to read clever FYI) The first time I heard this song I thought it was called ‘Sea Wolf’, which struck me as odd due to the fact that Sea Wolf is the name of an amazing folk-indie band. However…as you can probably tell it’s not called Sea Wolf. Nonetheless, I decided to invest a few minutes to give the video a peak.

If you’re a regular here, you’ve probably come to realize that I’m pretty critical of music videos. This one however…is…actually pretty cool. It’s not because Shakira is dancing around like a robot/zombie thing, or because she’s amazingly hot, it’s because this song is actually pretty good.

More pop singers should take a page out of Shakria’s book. This song is so Rilo Kiley-esque on electronic steroids, that any fan of indie or electro-whatever music should be pretty entertained.

I have two suggestions for you. One: watch the video, and Two: DO NOT attempt to recreate any of the dance moves you see. Unfortunately, as I found out, you will get hurt and instead of looking ’sexy’ you’ll make yourself want to throw up.
