It’s not everyday that a band can manage to hold my interest for more than like 13.4 seconds. With the internet and crap now, you practically have access to whatever you want, whenever you want it. That being said…all I have to say is f***, this music is good. A buddy of mine managed to send the -yet to be released- Phantogram LP my way a few months ago, and I’ve been hooked since.

I really don’t make predictions too often, because it seems like every time I do, I end up being wrong and eventually look stupid…but here’s goes nothing. Phantogram’s LP titled ‘Eyelid Movies’ is set to officially drop some time in 2010, and when it does, it’s going to be huge.

Like I said, I usually try to steer clear of predictions, but my last one…”The xx are going to make it happen”…is right on par. I like to believe that the Music Supervisor for CSI read my post and was like “damn it…this kid is right..this sound fits perfectly in with ‘analyzing blood samples and shit’ in scene 43.”
