Whatever happened to rock operas? I mean sure some people would make the argument that most albums now-a-days tell stories (at least the good ones), but the days of The Who’s ‘Tommy’ or David Bowie’s ‘The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars’ are long gone…or so I thought. By complete accident, I stumbled upon this little gem. Bless you Edward Sharpe for bringing back musical prowess in all its glory.
